Frankfort School District 157-C is ready to welcome back its students and staff for the new school year! The first day of school for grades K-8 is Wednesday, August 19, and it will be a full day, with regular hours. Please visit the District 157-C website at www.fsd157c.org for more information.
New on the website this year is an electronic school calendar that replaces the paper calendar previously sent out at the beginning of each year. The electronic calendar includes District information and a calendar of events for each school. These calendars will include important school information such as early dismissal dates, testing dates, hot lunch dates, field trip dates, sporting events, etc. and will be updated anytime there is a change to be kept current. The events in each calendar can be added to your personal calendars in several different formats. You will have the ability to download all items via iCal or individual items using the html versions.

Grand Prairie Project Begin Curriculum Night - Monday, August 17 from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m.
Grand Prairie Kindergarten Curriculum Night - Monday, August 17 from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.
Meet & Greets, Tuesday, August 18 all schools. Grand Prairie (Grades K-2) - 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Chelsea (Grades 3-5) - Noon to 1:00 p.m., Hickory Creek (Grades 6-8) - 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Grand Prairie Curriculum Night - Thursday, August 20, 1st Grade - 6:00 to 6:45 p.m., 2nd Grade - 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.
Hickory Creek Curriculum Night (6th, 7th, 8th grades) - Tuesday, August 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Chelsea Curriculum Night - IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE: Thursday, August 28, 3rd Grade - 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Encore Available for All Parents - 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., 4th & 5th Grades - 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Picture Day (All Schools) - Thursday, August 27.
