Back to School information for Frankfort School District 157-C

Frankfort School District 157-C is ready to welcome back its students and staff for the new school year! Please view the electronic school calendar on the District 157-C website at www.fsd157c.org. It includes District information and a calendar of events for each school. These calendars include important school information such as early dismissal dates, testing dates, hot lunch dates, field trip dates, sporting events, etc. and are updated anytime there is a change to be kept current. The events in each calendar can be added to your personal calendars for devices that can use an iCal Link and there is also an option of printing a hard copy.

Meet & Greets, Tuesday, August 23

Grand Prairie (Grades K-2) - 8:30 a.m.to 10:00 a.m.

Chelsea (Grades 3-5) – 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Chelsea Step-Up Event, parents only - Tuesday, August 16, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Just a reminder, there will be a minor change in school start times by 10 minutes beginning this school year. The time change will help to eliminate the practice of Chelsea students leaving school early to attend after-school commitments. All schools will be on the new schedule due to our staggered bus route. Families will experience little to no changes in the bus pick-up times in the morning because students are picked up at their bus stops and dropped off at school well before school starts. The only change will be for walkers and car riders, however, the majority of these students also currently come to school early because there is built-in supervision for students due to the early arrival of bus riders.
