Baseball, Softball Training Facility Approved In Frankfort
The facility will be appointment-only.
FRANKFORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved a special use permit for a new appointment-only baseball and softball training facility.
The facility, the Launch Pad Chicago, will be at 700 Center Road.
As a condition of the special use, Trustee Daniel Rossi said that the business will implement a minimum 15-minute transition period between each session, and no tournament or competitive events shall be held on-site.

According to Board documents, the facility will be solely private appointments without public access. A parking adjustment was also approved by the plan commission, as the required 16 parking spaces can be shared among the existing 104 spaces at the property.
