Broken Car Windows Prompt Police Investigation

The New Lenox police are investigating separate incidents of motor vehicle vandalism.

First, an officer was sent to the 700 block of Stacey shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday. There, a man complained about someone breaking out the windshield of his car.

The matter was sent to the investigations division for review.

Then, about 1 p.m. Saturday, an officer was sent to the 700 block of O'Connell where a man complained of someone breaking out the side window of his car.

This matter also was sent to the investigations division for review.
