Brush Fire Spreads to Mechanical Equipment

Frankfort firefighters Thursday evening battled a brush fire that grew to consume machine parts and automotive equipment at 440 South Center Road.

It took firefighters on the scene roughly an hour to put out the fire that was approximately 50-feet by 50-feet large. There were no injuries, and it’s believed that the cause of the fire was a nearby unattended mulch fire.
