Casino Location Change Granted By Illinois Gaming Board
The Illinois Gaming Board has granted the casino location change to 208 Lincoln Mall Drive.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Illinois Gaming Board has accepted the amended casino location from the village of Matteson. The gaming board met Thursday and during the meeting, the board considered a request from Matteson and South Suburban Development, LLC, to amend the original casino location.
The original proposed location on Route 30 and Harlem met opposition from local leaders and residents due to its proximity to residential neighborhoods and schools.
The village of Matteson submitted an amendment in December, to change the location to 208 Lincoln Mall Drive, which has now been granted by the board.
