Chelsea Field Day commemorates end of school year
Students have fun with the theme of "Together is a great place to be"
Chelsea Intermediate School third through fifth grade students participated in their annual Field Day event with the theme of “Together is a great place to be” emphasizing the spirit of the day.
Students spent time in various locations both inside and outside of the school utilizing bounce houses, games and playground equipment. The event was organized by the physical education staff. Principal Dr. Sharon Paver-Nepote stated, “We thank Mr. Randy Klosowski, Mrs. Kay Elam and Mr. Matt Dykema for planning an incredible Field Day.”

The students also enjoyed an assembly by “Popeye and Sailor.” Popeye and his dog, Sailor, performed a variety of tricks which was very engaging and well-liked by all the students and staff.

Grand Prairie Elementary School kindergarten through second grade students also participated in their own Field Day events as an annual end of the school year program.
