Chelsea Intermediate School Family Literacy Night

"Lights, Camera, Read!"

Chelsea Intermediate School will roll out the red carpet to host a Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, March 2, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This event is open to all Chelsea students and their families. The theme is “Lights, Camera, Read!” and it will be a fun night full of movie-themed reading and writing activities hosted by the teachers. Some of these activities include reading and vocabulary games, comic script writing, Guest Reader and reader’s theater.

All Chelsea students will receive a free book to take home and can also try their luck at winning prizes during raffles. Parents will hear some new ideas for reading and writing activities they can use at home to support their children’s learning. Parents and students will also have an opportunity to visit the Family School Partnership (FSP) Spring Book Fair.
