Chili Tasting, Ice Carvings At Frankfort's Fire & Ice Winter Social

FRANKFORT, IL — Take advantage of the warmer temperatures on Saturday and head out to the Fire & Ice Winter Social in Frankfort.

The free event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.

There will be free chili tastings, a live ice carving demonstration, bonfires, hot chocolate, s'mores, ice games and more.

You can taste and vote for your favorite chili, and restaurants will compete for first, second and third place. Restaurants include Cultivate Frankfort, Dancing Marlin, Fat Rosie's Taco and Tequila Bar, Old Plank Pizza Co., Jimmy O's Bar and Grille, Trail's Edge Brewing Co. and The Wine Thief, the Village shared.

Chili tasting will begin promptly at noon, and end at 2:30 p.m., or when chili runs out.
