FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way police agencies are teaming up to offer the Lincoln-Way Area Citizen's Police Academy, Frankfort Police shared on its Facebook.

The free, 9-week class will include traffic stops, a jail tour, CSI night and more, the department said.

You can apply online to be a part of the citizen academy; space is very limited.

The police academy is a joint effort between the Will County Sheriff's Office, Frankfort Police Department, New Lenox Police Department, Mokena Police Department and Manhattan Police Department.
