Class Ring Stolen In Frankfort Home Burglary

Several valuables were stolen from a home on Kuse Road in unincorporated Frankfort.

FRANKFORT, IL -- The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at a residence in unincorporated Frankfort last week in which one of the items supposedly taken was a class ring that's more than 40 years old.

Sheriff's police responded to a home in the 10000 block of West Kuse Road on Sept. 8 after a call about a home burglary. A report in a Will County police blotter indicates that one or more persons broke into the residence and stole three watches, a laptop, $150 in cash, silver coins and a 1972 Eastern Illinois University class ring.

Suspect information was not listed in the police brief. It's unknown whether the residence was locked at the time of the incident.
