Coming Soon! Village OKs Luxury Movie Theater in Frankfort
Frankfort will become home to Emagine Entertainment's first luxury movie theater in Illinois.

Emagine Entertainment is another step closer to moving into its new home in the vacant Dominick's, 19965 S. LaGrange Rd.
The Frankfort Village Board on Monday voted to allow Michigan-based Emagine Entertainment to build its tenth luxury movie theater, its first in Illinois.
Emagine operates 80 movie screens at 9 locations in Michigan. The location in Frankfort represents its first foray into the Illinois market. The 75,000 square foot Frankfort location will house 10 screens and approximately 1,300 powered reclining chairs.

The location will feature Emagine's "E-Max" premium large format auditorium, reserved seating, and enhanced premium food and alcoholic beverage offerings. Several enhancements and modifications to the facade were approved to convert the former grocery store to a theatre use and refresh the exterior appearance of the building. Complimentary valet parking is planned at the location.
The theater will remain open until 2 a.m. to accommodate viewing of the last movie for the evening. Emagine Entertainment chose Frankfort based on the location availability and demographic needs for its luxury movie theater operation. Paul Glantz, CEO of Emagine Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm of serving a "wonderful municipality like the Village of Frankfort."
