Congratulations Teagan Powers of Frankfort

Teagan Powers, Frankfort, violin student of The Music Connection of Frankfort completed Suzuki Book 1 and performed the entire book by memory in her own solo recital on October 18th at Peace Lutheran Church, New Lenox. She is a violin student of Ana Simonovska.

She is in 3rd grade and attends Chelsea Intermediate School in Frankfort.

Her favorite song from Book 1 was Minuet 1 by J.S. Bach.

Her favorite part of the recital? Playing with her friend Ali Kosteck who also plays violin!

Teagan disciplines herself to practice when she doesn’t want to by making a chart and doing a spot 100 times and then asking Mom for pie.

Her favorite pet is a dog, but she does not have one. She says “I have a mean cat.”

Price of admission to recital? Teagan thoughtfully replied, “I asked my guests to bring a donation to the Frankfort Food Pantry”.
