Cooling Centers Available In Will County As Temps Near 100
Residents should call before arriving at a facility to make sure they are open as a cooling center.
WILL COUNTY, IL — Several facilities across Will County are open as cooling centers, if residents need a place to cool off. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will remain in the 90s through Friday. The high for Tuesday will be 94, Wednesday will be 98 and Thursday will be 96 degrees.
The Will County Emergency Management Agency provides a list of cooling centers and advises that residents call before arriving at a facility to make sure they are open as a cooling center.
