Crash Victim Dies Days After Wreck on LaGrange Road

FRANKFORT TOWNSHIP, IL - A 62-year-old woman involved in a car crash last week has died.

Laura L. Phelps, of Manteno was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed near the intersection of LaGrange and Dralle roads in Frankfort Township south of the village of Frankfort on the night of Wednesday, Feb. 8, according to a recording from the Will County Coroner's Office.

Phelps was pronounced dead at 10:42 p.m. Sunday night at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. The official cause of death has not been determined.

Illinois State Police District 5 continues to investigate the crash.
