Cruisin' Frankfort Car Show Returns June 5

The annual car show is hosted by the club on Monday nights, from 5 to 8 p.m., and runs through September.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort Car Club's weekly Cruisin' Frankfort returns June 5 to downtown Frankfort.

The annual car show is hosted by the club on Monday nights, from 5 to 8 p.m., across the street from Trail's Edge, 20 Kansas St.

There is no Cruise Night planned for Aug. 28 or Sept. 5.

Here's a look at what the Car Club has planned for this summer:

  • June 5, trucks and car-based pick-ups
  • June 12, Buick, Cadillac
  • June 19, Mustang
  • June 26, Street rods, customs and lead sleds
  • July 3, emergency vehicles and military
  • July 10, survivor cars (original, not restored)
  • July 17, Corvette
  • July 24, Chrysler, Dodge and Viper
  • July 31, Ford, T-Bird and Lincoln
  • Aug. 7, Chevrolet
  • Aug. 14, Vintage scooters, motorcycles (20 years and older)
  • Aug. 21, Orphan makes, including Olds, Plymouth, Pontiac and Mercury
  • Sept. 11, rear engine, mid-engine and import cars
  • Sept. 18, all makes
  • Sept. 24, professional cars, hearses, flower cars, etc., for Halloween
