According to board documents, a credit will be issued in the amount of the club fee for clubs that were supposed to meet for the second semester of the school year only. If a club was scheduled to meet for the whole year, or the first semester only, a credit will not be given.
The credit could be applied to next year's club fee or a request for a refund check can be made.
The transportation fee is based on daily transportation for a normal 176-day school year, and students were only in attendance for 129 days before schools closed, according to board documents. The daily rate is $1.42 a day and 47 days were paid for but not used, so each family will receive a refund check of $66.74.
The district is also reimbursing the milk fee, which is again based on a normal 176-day school year. The daily rate for the fee is 30 cents a day, so the refund for each family will be $14.10. According to board documents, families have the option of receiving a check from the district or donating the amount of this refund to Summit Hill Educational Foundation or the school SCO.
