Discipline and respect helped students pass the test
Local taekwondo students use skills and respect to earn new belts

A display of strength, skills, and respect allowed 36 students at the Frankfort Black Belt Academy to advance to the next level of their studies in taekwondo.
According to the American Taekwondo Association, a student must show a complete understanding in their current belt’s techniques, including basic moves, sparring, forms, and board breaks.
The students, ranging from the age of 4 to 50 years old, showed a mixture of emotions with smiles, excitement, and dedication.
