District 157-C Board of Education election information

Frankfort School District 157-C will have four seats expiring on its Board of Education after the current term. The election will be held on April 7, 2015. Persons wishing to run to become members of the Board of Education must reside within District 157-C.

A new law amended the statute to have school board candidates file with the Election Authority instead of the school district. Nominating petitions for members of the Will County Boards of Education will be available after September 23, 2014 in the office of Will County Clerk Nancy Schultz Voots.

Filing dates for petitions are December 15 through December 22, 2014 and petitions must be filed in the Will County Clerk’s office at 302 N. Chicago Street, Joliet, Illinois. Visit www.thewillcountyclerk.com for election-related information.
