District 157-C Calls Emergency Board Meeting For Saturday

FRANKFORT, IL — The District 157-C Board of Education has called an emergency meeting for Saturday. According to the meeting agenda, the purpose of the meeting is to review the new guidance released on Wednesday from IDPH about opening schools.

The board is then set to discuss the return to learn plan with the updated IDPH guidance. The guidance released on Wednesday includes information on how to deal with students with coronavirus-like symptoms and quarantining protocols.

Lincoln-Way District 210 has delayed the start of school to plan and prepare for these new protocols, and other area schools, like Lockport Township High School, has now moved to full remote learning due to the new guidance.
