District 157-C Education Foundation Golf Outing raises $14,000
Eighty golfers participate to raise funds for education
The Frankfort School District 157-C Education Foundation held its Third Annual Golf Outing on July 13, 2015 at Prestwick Country Club. Eighty golfers enjoyed a lovely day on the course.
The event raised approximately $14,000 and was the Foundation’s most successful outing so far. The proceeds will benefit District 157-C classrooms through teacher-written grants at Grand Prairie Elementary, Chelsea Intermediate and Hickory Creek Middle School.
The team of Behringer, Casamento, Chojnacki and Smith won the scramble with a score of 51. Dr. Maura Zinni & Jason Bettenhausen won “Closest to the Pin.” Korinne Johnson and Mark Basile took home the prizes for “Longest Drive.”
