District 157-C Family Fitness and Nutrition Fair a big success
Sponsored by Family School Partnership (FSP) local businesses and organizations display family fitness and nutrition ideas
Frankfort School District 157-C families came in out of the cold and had a great time at a recent Family School Partnership (FSP) Family Fitness and Nutrition Fair. About 200 students and their families participated.
The free event featured booths and demonstrations that highlighted family fitness and good nutrition. Families could visit numerous interactive vendors and hear guest speakers about natural healing, concussions, women’s self-defense and other topics. Families also enjoyed raffles with prizes for participation and attendance, an obstacle course jumpee, disk jockey, fitness/nutrition craft station and refreshments available for purchase.
The FSP offers special thanks to the event’s volunteers and these local area businesses and community organizations that helped make the event a big success: Green Glen Nursery, JBMA Training Grounds, Sports & Spine Chiropractic, Juice Plus, Action Sports, Yoga For You, Family Martial Arts, CrossFit Invalesco, Healthwise, Frankfort Girls Softball, Girl Scouts SU 718, Frankfort GNC, Frankfort Falcons, DoTerra Essential Oils, Capitol Nutrition and Holistic Healing & Chiropractic.

The FSP is the Parent Teacher Organization for Grand Prairie Elementary, Chelsea Intermediate School and Hickory Creek Middle School in Frankfort. Its Mission is to strengthen the partnership between home and school through parent volunteer opportunities, student enrichment activities and fun family events.
