District 157-C and FSP offer program on medical vs. school based services

Community is invited to 157-C Tiger University's last program of this school year

Tiger University sponsored by District 157-C and the Family School Partnership (FSP) invites the community to its last program of the school year. It will be held on Thursday, April 20, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hickory Creek Middle School, 22150 W. 116th Avenue in Frankfort.

Tiger University’s purpose is to provide District 157-C parents and guardians with information on a variety of topics. The program is coordinated by District 157-C Director of Special Services Jennifer Bajda.

During the April 20 program, District 157-C special education related service staff members will provide an overview of school based services and answer questions regarding why a child may be receiving outside medical based services but is not eligible for services within the school setting. These programs are free but those planning to attend are asked to pre-register at www.SignUpGenius.com/go/409044AA9AB22A57-what.
