All District 157-C families are invited to an Exploration Night on Thursday, January 25, 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Chelsea Intermediate School, 22265 S. 80th Avenue. This event is presented FREE in collaboration with the Family School Partnership (FSP) for all families with children enrolled in the 157-C schools.
This fun and educational family evening will feature the Human Body, with presentations by the Carnegie Science Center of Pittsburgh and local healthcare professionals.
The event will take families on a fantastic voyage through the bloodstream to learn about human body systems and discover innovations in medicine from cryogenics to lasers. Local doctors, nurses, businesses and organizations will be providing a fun night of hands-on activities for kids to explore parts of the human body by visiting stations run by volunteers and local health professionals.
