District 157-C: New Faces Capture Three of Four Open Seats
Christopher McFadden, Edith Adamski and Mike Turner join incumbent Pat Usher as new members to the Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education.

Frankfort School District 157-C was infused with new blood as newcomers Edith Adamski, Christopher McFadden and Mike Turner--along with incumbent Pat Usher--were voted on to the board, according to unofficial results from the Will County Clerk's Office.
At 11 p.m., McFadden earned the most votes with 906, followed by Usher (782), Adamski (778) and Turner (728).
"I'm excited," Turner said. "Twenty-eight votes (the margin of victory over incumbent Lawrence Heidemann) isn't a ringing endorsement, but I certainly appreciate it."

Newly elected board member Adamaski couldn't contain her excitement after winning her first election.
"This is all a new experience for me," she said in a telephone interview. "I've never held a politcal office before. ... I'm excited to be working with the new people. Some of them I'm really thrilled be working with. I'm looking forward to start doing the job."

McFadden said he was thankful for all the support he received and is looking forward to working for District 157-C.
"I'm excited to be a part of a group of people who are so dedicated to education," he said during an elections result party at held by Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland.
