District 157-C offers program for parents on financial planning for college

Parents of pre-school through high school students: It is never too early to start planning for your child's college education!

On October 12, 2017, all Lincoln-Way area parents are invited to attend the first in this year’s series of Tiger University parent events. “The Need for College Coaching & Planning” will be presented at Hickory Creek Middle School, 22150 W. 116th Avenue in Frankfort, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

The workshop will feature an informative and engaging presenter from The Heartland Institute of Financial Education, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote financial literacy across America. The introductory presentation is designed for parents with students as young as pre-school all the way through high school to help them prepare for financing their child’s education.

Tiger University is an opportunity for Lincoln-Way area parents being offered by Frankfort School District 157-C in collaboration with its Family School Partnership (FSP) organization. It offers parent nights throughout the year to provide information on a variety of topics that can empower parents to raise confident, educated children.
