'Dog Loves Books' Coming to Lincoln-Way West

Performance set for Sunday, March 8.

Artspower’s talented, professional adult actors bring “Dog Loves Books,” a new musical based on Louis Yates’ New York Times Best Seller, to Lincoln-Way West High School on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m.

The irresistible Dog loves everything about books! In fact, he loves books so much that he decides to open his own bookstore. Once the store opens for business, no customers come. Dog is alone in his store. But, he soon realizes that when he is surrounded by books, he is never alone. Dog begins to read the books in his store and discovers that when customers finally come in to his store, he knows exactly which books to recommend. This delightful production celebrates the power of the imagination and the satisfaction that comes when you share books with others.

The one-hour show will be presented in the Performing Arts Center at Lincoln-Way West High School, 21701 South Gougar Road, New Lenox, enter door #46. Tickets are $6 with general admission seating. Please contact the Performing Arts Staff at 815-534-3004 to order tickets by phone with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover). You may download an order form at www.lw210.org/childrensseries and mail in your payment. You may also visit www.artspower.org for more information.
