Downtown Frankfort Boutique Thief Ticketed: Cops

Police issued a compliance ticket for retail theft to a 39-year-old woman from Palos Hills.

FRANKFORT, IL - A woman was issued a ticket for stealing items from several stores in downtown Frankfort on Thursday, police said.

The alleged thief was identified by police and issued a "compliance ticket for retail theft," according to Frankfort Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan. The woman was not identified by name, but Keegan said she is 39 years old and from Palos Hills.

A downtown Frankfort boutique owner indicated her boutique was one of several boutiques in the area that were allegedly victimized by the woman.

Keegan said the approximate value of the items stolen at the store was $400.
