Comedy Show for Women's Night Out

Laughter is Medicine for the Soul

Peotone Church Hosts Women’s Comedy Event June 01

Peotone, IL (May, 2012) - If there’s anything the world could use more of today, it is laughter! With news of unemployment, the economy, and negative politics everywhere, a welcomed fresh face has entered the Chicago area comedy scene. South suburban native and author of Laugh Anyway Mom, Tracy DeGraaf, brings humor to the everyday trials and tribulations of life as a woman and mother of FIVE BOYS!

The newcomer is quickly making a name for herself. Lake Michigan Shore Magazine called her incredibly funny and named her one of "six Midwestern comedians who crack us up." Legendary comedian, actress, and fellow mother of five children, Phyllis Diller, said this about DeGraaf's book, "A funny book that will make you laugh, cry, and take life as it should be - with a grain of salt!"

Christ Community Church of Peotone will host DeGraaf’s one woman show Life Happens, Laugh Anyway on Friday, June 01, 2012 at Peotone High School, 605 West North Street, Peotone, IL. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. It's a delightful hour of hilarious true stories about the ups and downs of being a woman ending with a tug on heartstrings that has left audiences both laughing and crying at the same time.
