Fat Rosie's Taco and Tequila Bar Opens Tuesday
Stop in and check out the newest addition to downtown Frankfort.
Visitors to downtown Frankfort will have a new option for dining beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Fat Rosie’s Taco and Tequila Bar, opening at 28 Kansas Street, is a restaurant inspired by Scott Harris’ many trips to Tijuana. Harris is the chef/owner, proprietor, and mastermind behind the Francesca’s Restaurant Group, which includes Francesca’s Restaurants, Davanti Enoteca, Glazed & Infused and Fat Rosie’s. Harris grew up in the Mokena and attended the Culinary Program at Joliet Junior College.
Fat Rosie’s Taco and Tequila Bar is a family friendly restaurant that serves authentic Mexican street fare, including handmade margaritas, fresh sangrias and local craft beers. The bar features nearly 50 different types of tequilas and mezcals.

The chef-driven menu specializes in small plates and shareable items including tacos, a variety of salsas, and regionally inspired braised meat and seafood entrees.
Restaurant seating for 100 with seasonal patio(s) seating for 80. Carryout and catering are available.

Fat Rosie’s will open to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m. Lunch service will be offered beginning Monday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. Walk-ins welcome, reservations at www.fatrosies.com or 815-534-1640.
