Fine Arts Fair Is June 17 In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL -- The Fine Arts Fair will return to Frankfort for its 13th year.

The event is planned for Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Breidert Green Park in downtown Frankfort, according to a news release. It’s billed as “a favorite among the many community events held in Frankfort.”

At the fair, local artists will sell l and demo their work on the Green. Oils, watercolor, pottery and calligraphy will be some of the many works of art featured.

“The Fine Arts Fair continues to be a crowd favorite and a great showcase for our local artistic talent,” said Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland. “It also provides an opportunity for visitors to enjoy our downtown area, its shops and restaurants.”

Entertainment at the fair will be provided by harp player Lily Bowen until noon. Brandon Reyes will play smooth jazz in the afternoon.
