First Savings Bank Robbed Jan. 24 In Frankfort: Police
The FBI is investigating this incident and request that anyone with information contact the FBI Chicago Office.
From the Frankfort Police Department: Jan. 24 at 7:48 p.m., the Frankfort Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery at the First Savings Bank of Hegewisch, 10395 W. Lincoln Hwy. Upon arrival, it was learned the bank was in fact robbed by two offenders.
The first offender was described as a male 20-25 years of age with a thin mustache wearing a black coat with a black stocking cap. The second offender was a man with a thin mustache wearing a grey coat. He was also described to be 20-25 years of age.
No weapons were displayed during the incident and the offenders fled in an unknown vehicle. No one was physically harmed during this incident. The FBI is investigating this incident and request that anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the pictured subjects is asked to contact the FBI Chicago Office at (312)421-6700.
