Fort Frankfort Playground Closing For Maintenance

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District's Fort Frankfort playground will be closed for maintenance Friday-Sunday. According to the park district's Facebook page, the Lions Club and Operation Playground Foundation will be putting on another coat of sealant to the playgrounds and shelters.

The park will remain closed so the sealant can dry.

The park district said this work is done by volunteers, so it is done based on their availability. If it rains, the work will be canceled and the park will be open.
