Frankfort 2020 Trick-Or-Treating Hours

Frankfort has set its trick-or-treating hours for 2 to 7 p.m. on Halloween.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort has set its trick-or-treating hours for 2 to 7 p.m. on Halloween. The Frankfort Police Department will also have its "special spooky squads" visiting various subdivisions from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Squad cars will be driving through and throwing out candy, so you can just stand out in your front yard. The schedule below may not be exact:

  • 12 p.m. - Walnut Creek, Five Oaks, Crystal Brook
  • 12:10 p.m. - La Porte Meadows, Ashington Meadows, Southwick
  • 12:15 p.m. - Timber's Edge
  • 12:20 p.m. - Shimmering View, Coquille
  • 12:25 p.m. - Lakeview Estates (starting south)
  • 12:30 p.m. - Candle Creek, Old Stone Village
  • 12:35 p.m. - Crystal Lake Way
  • 12:40 p.m. - Vistana, Light House Pointe
  • 12:45 p.m. - Stone Creek
  • 12:50 p.m. - Sara Springs, Abbey Woods
  • 12:55 p.m. - Frankfort Meadows
  • 1 p.m. - Hunt Club Estates, Autumn Fields, Highland
  • 1:10 p.m. - Homestead, Aberdeen, Creekview
  • 1:15 p.m. - Misty Falls
  • 1:20 p.m. - Prestwick Drive, Silver Tree
  • 1:25 p.m. - Stonebridge Valley
  • 1:30 p.m. - Tanglewood, Flagstone, Georgetown
  • 1:40 p.m. - Settlers Croft, Cobblestone, Plank Trail Estates
  • 1:50 p.m. - Connecticut Hills, Brookmeadow Estates, Hunter Woods Estates
  • 2 p.m. - New Frankfort Settlement, Newbrook, Window Hill
  • 2:10 p.m. - Butternut, Sandalwood Estates, Charrington/Charrington Estates
  • 2:20 p.m. - Brookridge Creek, Heritage Knolls, Shenandoah
  • 2:25 p.m. - Pheasant Run Estates
  • 2:30 p.m. - Yankee Ridge, Founders Place

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released guidance for fall and winter holidays.

It did list traditional trick-or-treating as a higher risk activity and stated that costume masks should not be used in place of cloth face masks. You also should not wear a costume mask over a face mask, because it can make it hard to breathe. The CDC suggested using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.
