Frankfort Accepts Applications For Historic Preservation Commission

There are vacancies on the Village's police pension board and the historic preservation commission.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort has availability on two of its commissions that serve the Village.

The first opening is on the Historic Preservation Commission, which promotes, protects and enhances Frankfort's historic district and buildings, according to the Village website. Five residents serve on the commission.

Frankfort also has a vacancy on its police pension board, which manages the police department's pension fund, according to the Village website.

The board has two elected police officer representatives, one retiree representative and two community members. If interested, you can apply online for the vacancy.
