Frankfort Approves $920K Water Main Project

FRANKFORT, IL — At its meeting on Monday, the Frankfort Village Board approved a $920,161 water main improvement project for fiscal year 2023/24.

The project will include water main improvements on Oregon Street, between Locust and Maple, and on Sycamore Lane, between Nebraska and Sauk Trail, according to board documents.

Trustee Michael Leddin said the Village received three bids for the project. H. Linden & Sons Sewer and Water, Inc., was the low bidder.

According to Board documents, H. Linden & Sons was also the contractor for the Village's water main replacement project last year, in the Prestwick subdivision.
