Frankfort Cops Take a Couple People to Jail: Frankfort Police Blotter

Aug. 27

Daniel Johnson, 44, of 4616 N. Cedarwood Ave. in Peoria was charged with improper lane usage, speeding, fleeing or attempting to elude, driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, driving without insurance, the illegal transportation of alcohol, obstructing justice, and resisting arrest shortly before 12:30 a.m. near the corner of LaGrange and Laraway roads.

Aug. 28

Markeita Yeargain, 29, of 23435 Western Ave. in Park Forest was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding about 9:45 a.m. in the 21000 block of LaGrange Road.

Aug. 29

Jeremy Schroeder, 33, of 22940 Lahon Road in Steger was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding, and served with a warrant from the Thornton Police Department about 5:30 a.m. near the corner of Bronson Drive and Laraway Road.

The Frankfort police hit two people with citations about 11:45 a.m. near the corner of Lincoln Highway and Plank Trail Drive. Jermaine Meyers, 27, of 3048 Sherwood Ave. was charged with driving on a suspended license. Jerry Allen, 27, of 260 Lynn Lane in Chicago Heights was charged with failing to wear a seatbelt and obstructing a peace officer.

Aug. 30

Kylie Hayes, 21, of 16254 Princeton Ave. in Tinley Park was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage about 3:30 a.m. in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road.

Cory Evans, 22, of 14037 Kilpatrick Ave. in Crestwood was charged with driving without insurance, the improper display of registration, and driving on a suspended and expired registration shortly before 5 p.m. near the corner of LaGrange Road and Lincoln Highway.

Casey King, 34, of New Haven, IN, was charged with driving on a suspended license, disregarding a traffic control device and driving without insurance shortly after 10 p.m. in the 99500 block of Lincoln Highway.

Aug. 31

A 16-year-old Mokena boy was charged with possession of tobacco about 10 p.m. at the Frankfort Fall Fest.

David Paul, 53, of 22723 S. Scheer Road was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and obstructing or resisting arrest shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Kansas Street. Paul was taken to the Will County jail.

Sept. 1

Edgar Zepeda, 23, of 17739 S. Ridgeland Ave. in Tinley Park was charged with speeding, driving without a valid registration, failing to signal and driving under the influence about 2:15 a.m. near the corner of 80th Avenue and Crooked Creek Drive.

Sept. 2

Halanna Hofman, 35, of 913 Logan Ave. in Elgin was charged with criminal damage to property about 1:30 p.m. in the 9500 block of Corsair Road. Hofman was taken to the Will County jail.
