Frankfort D157-C Board Of Education Awarded Governance Recognition
The Frankfort D157-C Board is one of only 43 school boards in the state to receive the award.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort 157-C Board of Education has received a School Governance Recognition from the Illinois Association of School Boards, according to a release from the District.
The 2023 School Governance Recognition designation was awarded to acknowledge the Board has engaged in activities and modeled behaviors that lead to excellence in local school governance in support of quality public education, the District said.
The Frankfort Board is one of only 43 school boards in the state to receive the award. The award is held for two years, the District said.

This is the first time the Frankfort 157-C Board of Education has been awarded the School Governance Recognition designation.
Current board members are: President Edith Lutz, Vice President Brett Cosich, Secretary Brian Skibinski, Member Paul Aleck, Member Francesco D’Avola, Member Dr. Larry Kociolek, and Member Ann Zaremba.

The board will be recognized at upcoming Fall Division Meetings and acknowledged at the Joint Annual Conference in November.
