Frankfort District 157-C Students Head Back To School Sept. 5
Students will head back to school right after Labor Day.
FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort District 157-C students still have a few weeks of summer left, as the first day of school isn't until Sept. 5.
The later start date is due to construction at Chelsea Intermediate School, the District told Patch previously. The calendar will return to normal next school year.
However, for the 2023-24 school year, the Sept. 5 start date means students will head back to school right after Labor Day, which is Sept. 4.
