Frankfort Earns Financial Reporting Award

FRANKFORT, IL — Once again, the Village of Frankfort has been awarded the certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, Mayor Keith Ogle shared at Monday's board meeting.

The award is for the fiscal year which ended on April 30, 2022.

"This certificate of achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management," Ogle said.

Frankfort has received the award every year since 1989.
