Frankfort Fall Fest Volunteers Needed

FRANKFORT, IL — Volunteers for the annual Frankfort Fall Festival are still needed. The 55th annual festival, held by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, is held over Labor Day weekend, which is Sept. 2-Sept. 4.
"There are a variety of volunteer positions," Mayor Keith Ogle said during Monday's Village Board meeting.
Volunteers should be 13 or older, and positions include set-up, take-up, communications, parade assistance and more.

"A lot of the volunteer positions are simple; you're able to learn them very quickly," Ogle added.
"It's an important thing, and it's also an amazing thing to be part of," he said.
