Frankfort Farmers Market 2017 Season Underway

FRANKFORT, IL - The Frankfort Country Market is underway. The annual farmers market in downtown Frankfort kicked off its season on Sunday at the corner of Kansas and Oak streets. The market is a “growers only” market and only features locally grown produce, according to information on the village of Frankfort website.

The market will continue every Sunday in Frankfort until October 29, when the fall market ends. The spring market season runs from April 30 through May 28. The summer market is from June 4 until Aug. 27 and the fall market goes from Sept. 10 until Oct. 29.

In addition to locally-grown food products, the market offers a variety of live entertainment, family events and chef demos.
