Frankfort Fire District Holds Community Workshop

The workshop will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Lincoln-Way East High School.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Fire Protection District will hold a community workshop on Feb. 19, with the topic of "Your Voice Counts When Seconds Matter."

"Emergency calls in our community have nearly doubled — but paramedic and firefighter staffing has not," the District website states. "Equipment and stations are aging, and the cost of providing emergency services continues to rise."

According to the District's website, the community workshop will provide a chance to learn about the District, including how fast firefighters and paramedics can reach you, how emergency services are funded, and more.
