Frankfort Gas Station Robbed Again One Month Later
One of the suspects is believed to be the same man as the June 4 robbery, and the car matches the description from June 4 as well.
FRANKFORT, IL —A Speedway gas station in Frankfort Township has been robbed again, a little over a month after a similar crime occurred on June 4. The Will County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to Speedway, 19370 S. Harlem Ave., at 1:55 a.m. on Monday.
The Speedway employee told police that two black males entered the gas station after parking their white Cadillac Escalade at a gas pump. The first man entered the the gas station and was described as younger, skinny, bald, tall, and wearing a black T-shirt, pants and a black hat. The second man was older and shorter, and wearing a white hat, white shirt and white shorts.
The second man approached the employee who was washing dishes near the back of the store. The employee told police the man had a knife or screwdriver in his hand and told him to “open the register and lay on the floor and don’t move or I will kill you."

Police said the employee complied and the two men took $100 cash from the register and about $3,000 in Newport cigarette cartons. The two men left and the employee called 911.
The car used in this robbery also matches the description of the car used in the June 4 robbery. Police said the second man in this case is also believed to be involved in the June 4 robbery.
