Frankfort resident, mother of four assumes new role at helm of department.

Frankfort has a new Director of Finance, after Mayor Jim Holland recently announced the addition of Jenni Booth to the position, effective January 4. Rob Piscia, Assistant Village Administrator, assumed the temporary role of Finance Director in April 2014 after the retirement of Sandy Babka from that position.

Booth, a Frankfort resident and CPA, was chosen by the Village Board and staff from a field of 15 applicants. She has been a member of the Village’s Financial Affairs Committee since 2014. Since 2007, Booth has worked as a consultant for an accounting business, providing guidance, recommendations and strategies related to financial issues. Her role as a consultant included extensive experience with municipal finance. In addition, she has worked as an Audit Manager, and has significant experience in budgeting and long-term planning.

Booth has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is a certified public accountant. She resides in Frankfort with her husband, Nick, and four children.
