Frankfort Inventor Develops New Knee Pad that Makes Work Easier

Joseph Edwin Johnson, a local Frankfort resident, has invented an advanced memory foam knee pad to use at work, in the garden, or around the house. The product is called the Total Comfort knee pad, and it is stirring things up in the community.

Joseph originally launched his company, Total Comfort Medical two years ago. At the time, he was getting his undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship from Loyola Marymount University (LMU). One day he got a call from his Dad explaining a problem he was hearing every day at work. As a nurse practitioner, his Dad would constantly hear complaints from Total Knee Replacement (TKR) patients who could not find any knee pads that were not bulky or uncomfortable.

After researching the problem and the current product offerings, Joseph found that this might be a good project to work on at school. After tinkering with a few designs and discovering that Knee Replacement surgeries were increasing over 400% over the next 15 years, he decided to start a company centered around developing new comfort products for the medical community.

Joseph has since graduated a semester early from LMU and moved back to Frankfort. With two years of research and development behind him, Joseph has finalized his knee pad design and will receive his first shipment of inventory at the beginning of September. The final product is a thing of beauty that will make any project that requires kneeling pain free.

The patent pending padding that Joseph developed is actually so good that it has gained the recommendation from Doctors and special approval for use by Knee Replacement patients.
