Frankfort Lions Club Holds Sock Drive

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Lions Club is collecting new socks for men, women and children through March 15. According to the club's Facebook, collection boxes can be found at Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St., and Frankfort Public Library, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road.

You can also make a monetary donation by making out a check to Frankfort Lions Charities/SOCKS to PO Box 223, Frankfort.

The Frankfort Lions Club is part of Lions Club International, which is the world's largest service club organization. Frankfort Lions supports the community in various ways, including delivering meals to Silver Cross Hospital, Thanksgiving food drive and working to reseal Fort Frankfort at Commissioners Park.
