Frankfort Park District Plans Patriotic Porch Decorating Contest

FRANKFORT, IL — To celebrate the Fourth of July, the Frankfort Park District is holding a patriotic porch/driveway decorating contest. To participate in the contest, you must living in the boundaries of the Frankfort Park District and submit photo or video of your decorations by July 5 to info@frankfortparks.org.

According to the park district, residents should decorate their porch or driveway in a red, white and blue patriotic theme. You could also include live entertainment, music and family engagement.

The park district said the winner will be judged on the most creative, fun and patriotic decor. Photos will be posted on social media and winners will be announced during the week of July 6.
