Frankfort Plans 60423 Celebration On June 4

FRANKFORT, IL — Games, entertainment, a bean bag tournament and a drone show will all be featured at a special celebration on June 4 in Frankfort. June 4, 2023, or 6-04-23, corresponds with the Frankfort ZIP Code 60423.

To celebrate the day, the Village, in partnership with local organizations, will host a free, community-wide celebration at Breidert Green, according to a news release from the Village.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m., with the Country Market. Then, the event will offer family-friendly games, entertainment, arts and crafts, and live music performances by the Frankfort Brass Band, Grace & John Music, and the Good Clean Fund Band.

Residents can gather at Breidert Green at 6:04:23 p.m. for a community photo, the Village said.

As a finale, Frankfort will host the first-of-its-kind (in the south suburbs) drone show. Spectators can watch the sky to view an elaborate 60423 customized aerial display involving 100 flying illuminated drones synchronized to music. Viewers can watch the show at or nearby Breidert Green at 8:45 p.m.

"The Zip Code Day is intended to be a unifying event for the entire community. The celebration incorporates activities that highlight what Frankfort is all about, as we celebrate our past, present, and future," Mayor Keith Ogle said in a release.
