Frankfort Plans Annual Short Run On A Long Day

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District will hold the 19th annual Short Run on a Long Day on Wednesday, June 19. The 5k run/walk will be held at 7 p.m. at Main Park, 400 Nebraska St.

It is $20 for pre-registration by June 17, and $30 after June 17. The route goes through the Old Plank Trail and several streets in Frankfort. After the race, there will be awards with a DJ.

Volunteers are still needed for street closures, registration and activities. For more information about the race, you can visit the park district website.
